About Zac
Athlete first.
Coach by evolution.
Zac’s story begins in West Jordan, Utah. Wrestling established the discipline. Coaching wrestling introduced the responsibility of developing someone else. Personal training expanded that work beyond sport.
Training at Wasatch Front altitude—where steep grades, mountain terrain, heat, cold, and changing conditions are part of the environment—helped shape the endurance athlete he became.
The racing tests the work. Coaching is where it matters.

Rocky Mountain altitude became a proving ground for performance under fatigue.
Translating what works into intelligent coaching for others.
Coaching in Practice
The person stays at the center.
Good coaching is attentive, specific, and responsive. Zac watches how the work is moving, adjusts what matters, and keeps the person—not the program—at the center. The goal is strength that carries beyond the session and into the life each client is training for.

What 85 miles teaches you about pacing.
A practical look at restraint, fueling, fatigue, and decision-making when the day becomes longer than the plan.
The program has to fit the person living it.
Why intelligent coaching begins with the individual rather than forcing the individual to fit a predetermined system.
Recovery is part of performance.
Adaptation happens after the work— when rest, nutrition, sleep, and training stress are treated as one system.
